Leaving

My theory on how Scar got his scar:


Young Taka had just about had it with this argument. One last time he asked, "Dad, why can't I be king?! It's just not fair...Mufasa has always been everyone's favorite, including your's!!"


And Ahadi had just about had it as well. He unsheathed his claws in his massive paw, and without a moment's hesitation, he had slashed his son's eye (which was luckily closed). Blood streamed down the young cub's face and stained his auburn-fur.



With his bloodshot eye, Taka looked at his father in fear and agony. He took a few steps backwards, and immediately fled.




...Ahadi immediately regretted what he had done. He'd loved his son, he just never quite knew how to show it...
